A home thoughtfully composed to feel expansive in scale—rooted in light, art, and the way it is lived in.Rebuilt following a significant loss, the home was developed in close collaboration with the architect to reflect the clients’ lifestyle with intention and clarity. Though modest in scale at just under 1,300 square feet, the interiors were carefully composed to feel open and elevated, with nine-foot ceilings and vertically proportioned windows drawing the eye upward and reinforcing a sense of volume upon entry. The kitchen anchors the home as its central hub, supporting both daily routines and larger gatherings. Throughout, the architecture remains intentionally restrained, allowing natural light, materiality, and a curated collection of local artwork to define the character of the space.Located just minutes from the shoreline, the home maintains a seamless relationship to its surroundings, with light moving effortlessly across the interiors and softening the transition between interior and exterior spaces. The result is a home that feels both grounded and expansive—intimate in scale, yet generous in experience.
