Through thoughtful planning and structural adjustment, the layout was expanded to allow for a deeper kitchen anchored by a central island.A key shift in the home’s daily function came with relocating the laundry to the second level, allowing the mudroom to be redesigned with full-height storage and integrated seating. Designed with both everyday living and hosting in mind, the kitchen incorporates a dedicated beverage area and intuitive storage solutions that support how the family uses the space.Rift-cut white oak cabinetry with a custom stain pairs with Taj Mahal quartzite, while a large picture window draws in natural light and frames views of the surrounding landscape. A restrained, neutral palette carries throughout, creating a sense of cohesion and quiet warmth.The result is a home that feels open, functional, and thoughtfully aligned with the way the family lives.
